Printable Checklist

We photograph whatever is in the scenes chosen for your virtual tours. We do not clean rooms or organize things, so it’s important that the property is prepared in advance of our arrival.

The camera sees EVERYTHING. So you should make sure:

First priority:

o FIX all nonfunctioning light fixtures.

o CLEAN WINDOWS & screens (especially if there’s a view)

Second priority:

Remove/hide:

o Miscellaneous items from kitchen counters (use your own judgement here)

o Refrigerator magnets

o Electrical cords

o Books & magazines

o Pet dishes

o Boxes

o Toys

o Brooms & other cleaning supplies & equipment

o Mow lawn

o Clean debris from pool

o Hide garbage cans (inside & out)

o etc.

Third priority:

o A few fresh flowers, fruits, or a plant here and there is a nice touch.

In short: Declutter, declutter, declutter. Think about how a hotel room looks when a maid has been thru it…that’s what you’re shooting for.

REMEMBER: The cleanliness & neatness of the scenes we photograph impacts directly on the quality of our photography.

We can fix some things digitally after the fact at your request, but this is time intensive and will cost extra.
